Illinois accident attorneys are available for legal representation if you or a loved one were involved in a vehicle accident. After an accident occurs, medical bills can quickly add up causing a family to become weakened financially and emotionally. When accidents, do occur there are multiple parties who may be liable. For example, a Florida woman sued the tire company for her accident and was awarded a $10 million dollar jury award. The award was given to the Florida woman who suffered severe injuries after a serious accident caused by a defective tire made by one of the largest tire companies in the world.

The woman was driving on a highway in Florida when she lost control of the car resulting in her car flipping over 3 times and landing in a median.

The woman was 39 years old and a mother of 3 boys. Due to the injuries of the accident, the mother was in a coma for a month after the accident. According to lawyers.com, the woman was not expected to survive. Fortunately, she made it after receiving proper medical attention. The woman underwent 17 surgeries and spent nearly 3 months in the hospital, thus resulting in $1.5 million dollars in medical bills. The news reported that she is still living with constant pain.

Lawyers.com also reported that the tire was defective when it left the manufacturing company because it lacked an inspection sticker.

The Law Offices of Steven J. Malman wish the woman and her family a healthy recovery for the injuries and damages done to them.
