As it is breaking headlines everywhere, Chicago products liability attorneys want you to be aware of the recent recall that was announced by the National Highway Traffic Association (NHTSA). As one of the largest recalls ever, Graco has agreed to recall 3.7 million child car seats that were manufactured in recent years, and according to reports there could potentially be 1.8 million more—over a buckling issue.

The NHTSA has been investigating this issue and will continue to keep the investigation open. As of now, Graco is required to notify consumers of the recall.

The problem that is occurring with the car seat is the harness buckle becomes hard to open or becomes stuck in the latched position on car seats and booster seats manufactured from 2009 through July 2013.

To solution the problem, Graco stated that it offering “a new and improved replacement harness buckle to affected consumers at no cost.” Consumers can learn more about this replacement by calling Graco’s customer service team at 800-345-4109 or emailing
