Ring in the New Year with Safer Driving Habits

Written by Malman Law, reviewed by Steve J. Malman.

As we move into 2014, Malman Law, are asking you to take a pledge that could save lives. The pledge is simple—promise yourself that you will never drive while distracted. All persons are invited to take the pledge at /distracted-driver/. For every pledge, Malman Law will be donating $1 to the non-profit organization Nikki’s Foundation, an organization that is dedicated to seeing that distracted driving ends on an international basis.

Malman Law also reminds you that there are now news laws in effect that began on January 1, 2014 that requires all motorists to use only hands-free devices while operating a motorized vehicle. To learn more about these new laws, read our blog, Illinois Governor Signs Two New Cell Phone Laws.
