Attorney Jesse Gonzalez is a nationally recognized Trial Attorney with over a decade of experience litigating in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, premises liability, criminal defense, and construction litigation. He joined Malman Law following several years as a partner at another law firm specializing in personal injury, premises liability, and wrongful death.
Over his years of practice, Mr. Gonzalez has established a reputation for being a passionate, dedicated, and zealous advocate for his clients and has recovered tens of millions of dollars in compensation for them and their families. He has taken countless cases to verdict, achieving outstanding results for his clients.
As a result of his hard work and accomplishments in the industry, Attorney Gonzalez has been distinguished as a Top 40 under 40 Trial Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers, which recognizes the nation’s top civil plaintiff trial lawyers based on reputation and achievements. In addition, Attorney Gonzalez has been selected as one of the Nationally Ranked Top 10 Under 40 Attorneys for his excellence in Personal Injury by the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys, an accolade attained by less than 1% of attorneys.
A native of the Chicagoland area, Mr. Gonzalez earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his Juris Doctorate from The John Marshall Law School (n/k/a University of Illinois Chicago School of Law). While in law school, he was appointed as the lead member of the Restorative Justice Program at The John Marshall Law School. Through this program, and with the goal of empowering survivors, Mr. Gonzalez addressed the impact of wrongdoing by fostering accountability and understanding in an attempt to repair the harm caused to others.
Mr. Gonzalez currently resides with his wife and children in the Chicago suburbs. Outside of the office, and when not pursuing his main passion of spending quality time with his family, Mr. Gonzalez is committed to giving back to the community and volunteers at various non-profit organizations in the Chicago area. He enjoys staying active and playing sports, including basketball, golf, and tennis.
