Meagan Schweickert joined Malman Law in 2023 as an Associate Attorney. Meagan received her J.D. from UIC Law School in 2022 and her B.A. in Political Science from Illinois State University in 2019. She began her legal career interning for Senator Tammy Duckworth’s office in 2018 and has worked in the Personal Injury field since 2019.
While in law school, Meagan participated in the Trial Advocacy program and competed in ADR competitions. Additionally, as the daughter of a veteran, Meagan was eager to join UIC Law’s Veterans Legal Clinic, where she provided free legal assistance to veterans in the Chicagoland area who had been injured in the line of duty.
Meagan Schweickert is also an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
Since starting her career in Personal Injury, Meagan has been known for her excellent communication skills and attention to detail in her cases. She thrives in legal research and is a zealous and tireless advocate for her clients.
Raised in Peoria, Illinois, Meagan attended and graduated from Limestone Community High School in Bartonville, Illinois. Meagan grew up playing soccer and cheerleading and was a competitive figure skater.
Meagan Schweickert currently lives in the Downtown Chicago area. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, bartending on weekends, and traveling home to spend time with her family.
