Mike Sipla is a dedicated nursing home attorney who combines strong legal insight with extensive professional experience to advocate for his clients. He graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law (formerly The John Marshall Law School), where he served on the executive board of the Honors Program. During law school, Mike also worked with the Illinois Innocence Project as both an extern and volunteer, gaining valuable experience in legal research, case development, and client advocacy.
Mike began his legal career at a defense litigation firm, where he focused on the representation and defense of nursing homes. His experience defending these facilities has given him a unique perspective on nursing home litigation.
Before starting his legal career, Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Illinois State University and spent 14 years working in the financial industry. His financial services background gives him a deep understanding about client service and focusing on client-driven outcomes.
A Chicago native, Mike lives on the North Side of the city. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and taking his dog for walks along the lakefront.
