Milan joined Malman Law as an associate attorney in 2025. She concentrates her legal practice in personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining Malman Law, Milan was an associate attorney at a boutique Chicago law firm that specialized in medical malpractice and social services negligence. During her tenure as a law clerk and attorney with the firm, she assisted with a number of high-profile cases and trials, including working on trial teams that secured a $12 million jury verdict against a social service agency for the wrongful death of a five-year-old boy, and a $43.3 million jury verdict for medical negligence that caused an anoxic brain injury.
Milan received her law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. During law school, Milan clerked for two prominent personal injury law firms in Chicago and served as a judicial extern twice for the Honorable Eve M. Reilly in the Chancery Division of the Cook County Circuit Court. Milan was recognized for her outstanding oral advocacy and writing skills when she was named Best Oralist and her team was awarded Best Brief at the 2023 Thomas Tang Regional Moot Court Competition. While in school, Milan served on the Executive Board of Chicago-Kent’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA). She now assists with coaching APALSA’s moot court team as an alum.
Originally from Kentucky, Milan graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Public Health and English and a minor in Linguistics.
Milan is involved in several legal organizations, including the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois, and the Asian American Bar Association of Chicago.
In her free time, Milan enjoys live music, recreating her favorite restaurant dishes, and playing fetch with her dog, Hazel.
