Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Chicago Car Accident

Friday evening a 48 year old grandmother was struck and killed in a hit and run Chicago car accident as she was crossing a Southwest side street. The woman, Ann Sconza, was “panhandling when the car hit her and fled the scene,” according to the Chicago Tribune.

The police issued an alert for an older model white vehicle, possibly a Pontiac or Buick, which was seen leaving the Chicago car accident scene with a broken windshield.

At this time, no one has come forward claiming responsiblity for the Chicago hit and run.
