Over the course of his career, Jeffrey (Jeff) Gates has served hundreds of Illinois and Indiana injury victims, recovering millions of dollars for them and their families. Jeff prides himself on providing individualized and dedicated representation to each client, and working tirelessly to ensure that no stone is left unturned. In addition to bringing his experience to bear on each case, clients can expect honesty, candor, and a bit of humor. He focuses on personal injury cases, with special interest in auto collisions and trucking cases.
Born and raised in Chicagoland, Jeff attended Indiana University in Bloomington, double-majoring in Criminal Justice and English. He went on to complete law school at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. During law school, he clerked at a prominent Indianapolis personal injury firm. Jeff was elected to the Indiana Bar in 2012 and the Illinois Bar in 2017. He began his career working to protect victims of abuse and neglect, before spending the bulk of his career with two very successful personal injury firms. Jeff joined Malman Law in 2022.
Jeff, his wife, Hayley, and their young daughter, Margot, live in Park Ridge, Illinois. He loves spending time with his family and friends, comedy, plunking at the guitar, science fiction, and a variety of outdoor activities.
