Vallarie Perez joined Malman Law in 2023 after deciding she wanted to fight to vindicate the rights of injured individuals whose lives have been turned upside down by circumstances outside their control. Before joining Malman Law, Vallarie practiced criminal defense litigation, thriving in the courtroom daily. While practicing criminal defense litigation, Vallarie represented clients in the courtroom on innumerable felony charges, including various Class X cases, in a myriad of counties. Vallarie prides herself in her proficiency and passion for legal research and writing. These skills, her aptitude for oral articulation, and her notably aggressive and creative argument style set her advocacy apart.

Vallarie’s interpersonal and professional skills and unwavering dedication to her craft and clients laid the foundation for the highly successful outcomes she achieved for the individuals she represented throughout Illinois. Vallarie imagined and immersed herself in the courtroom even preceding her legal studies at Northern Illinois University College of Law, where she graduated with distinction. As a college student at North Central University, Vallarie first recognized an undeniable draw to advocacy for others and felt a profound call to positively impact the lives of those who could not advocate for themselves. There, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism but knew she was called to a path with a different impact. Vallarie’s duty to uplift others through the higher education she felt privileged to receive led her to realize she was meant to become an attorney.

Vallarie’s authenticity, diligence, precision, and heart-led advocacy allow her to form sincere bonds and connections with her clients, setting the tone for her representation of them inside and outside the courtroom. The sincere connections she forms with all of her clients lead and energize her as she litigates cases on behalf of those wrongfully injured.

Vallarie is proudly bilingual. Spanish was a native language in her household and within her community. Proud of her roots, Vallarie eagerly emphasizes accessibility to competent legal representation in her community. She remains focused on continuously elevating her craft so she may serve her community and clients to the best of her ability- as she knows each of them deserves.

Outside the office and the courtroom, Vallarie loves to spend time with her family and closest friends and enjoy what life has to offer with those she loves most.
